Population studies
From sample registration to the analysis of the study GenoProof® supports the whole workflow during the execution of a population study. - You can analyse an unrestricted number of samples and it is also possible to combine autosomal and gonosomal markers in one study.
- The analysis of a study covers a great number of biostatistic reference values for the examined STR loci:
- Allele frequencies
- Genotype frequencies
- Polymorphic Information Content (PIC)
- Homozygotie (h)
- Heterozygotie (HET)
- Power of Exclusion (PE)
- Paternity Index (PI)
- Power of Discrimination (PD)
- Mean Exclusion Chance (MEC)
- Mean Exclusion Chance (MEC) Trio according to Desmaries
- Mean Exclusion Chance (MEC) Duo according to Desmaries
- Mean Exclusion Chance (MEC) according to Kishida
- Gene Diversity (GD)
- In addition to the individual calculations certain results are displayed graphically. Beside that, combined values of all markers that were examined in the study are calculated too.
- The compliance of Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium for markers with an unlimited numbers of alleles is checked by GenoProof®.
- All results can be printed as individual reports or be exported into configurable files.
- Sample details and / or genotypes can be transferred into new studies.
- Furthermore, all data can be exchanged between several users of GenoProof® within the scope of research cooperations.
